10 Must See Christmas Movies

With Christmas right around the corner I felt I should share my 10 favorite Christmas movie, plus one honorable mention. First off, so you understand my selections I had the following criteria. First the movie must have a plot revolving around Christmas and to a point the true meaning of Christmas. So no Gremlins or Die Hard because let’s be honest, those movies can take place at anytime of the year. Second, the movie must be a feature length movie. That means no Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, A Charlie Brown Christmas or my favorite Santa Clause is Comin’ to Town because those are specials and at most take an hour to show on television.

6 Adaptations I Want to See

A lot of mainstream movies that come out are based on some other source such as novels, comic books, short stories or TV shows. With all these adaptations it can be hit or miss, especially in the comic book and TV show realm. I often think about the stories I’d like to see adapted for the big screen and below is a list of 10 of them. Some of these might actually be planned already but they are either in development hell or they are waiting to be made. These are in no particular order.

Christopher Nolan: King of the Mind Fucks

For those of you living in a cave this summer, Christopher Nolan is the director of one the year’s big hits, Inception. To say that this movie messes with your mind and makes you think would be an understatement. Besides the visually stunning look of the film, the plot and the ending are what really define this as a mind fuck.
